Cardian Matsu Macross has been one of the defining fixtures of Future Funk for a long time, and just about every one of his releases shows why. Even as early as this, there’s some excellent selections of samples and interesting reinterpretations going on.

There’s almost a more hesitant approach to production in this early stage as well, with some of the tracks evoking a more traditionally “vaporwave” flavor in tempo.

A nice collection of old tracks for anyone digging back in this artist’s catalogue. Favorite track: バニラと美里BIG CITY NIGHTS.

dave lots of slow songs but still exceptionally good! great final track too. Favorite track: デラックスSATIN WIZARD (w/Le Real 現実).
